SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The service level produced for intervention experiences a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, status sassa SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
